ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Vanessa Hall

Vanessa Hall has dedicated the past 11 years to learning, teaching, talking and writing about trust. It was actually a Mother’s Day card from her son, Lachlan, who was turning 10, that started her on the journey of exploring trust and trustworthiness when he told her that she ‘sometimes keeps her promises’. So many adults have told Vanessa over the years: ‘If only I knew when I was younger what you just taught me today, I would not have made the mistakes I have made through my life.’ That prompted Vanessa to start developing ways to reach children, the next generation, with these same concepts of trust, and Kelly, and soon her friends, was born from that.
